The Fossa is an endangered species living in Madagascar. The Fossa's habitat usually are in dense forests. The Fossa has became endangered because of the significant amount of habitat loss in Madagascar. ("National Geographic Fossa," n.d.)In order to not become extinct, the Fossa needs to condense their living environment so they aren't as easily hunted.("National Geographic Fossa," n.d.) It has very sharp claws and also is very quick which benefits them for hunting reasons. The Fossa sometimes hunts during the night so it isn't as easy for its prey to spot it.
